I'm so lay back right now. Church service going to start in 4 hours time. Well, sad to say that today is our last Chinese service. I supposed GOD has His own way for this. Just felt uneasy to leave a lovely place after so many years. As in Bible :"Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead." So we shall move on. Bro. Al was back 3 weeks ago and he left last Thursday. I'm so glad and happy that he is doing well and holding on GOD so strongly and faithfully. Hope this is not the last time to see him although in medical vice, he has only 1-3 months left.
Finished my O&G posting and I'm now with Pediatrics. One of my least favorite subject. Shall work hard to gain more knowledges about it because it's a different science compare to others. Ch and me are in the some group to clerk patient. I have to say, it's interesting process to try to understand them as they are straight forward and so willing to share. Hope those kids in the ward can get well soon.
Andrew got his SPM result, and I'm so happy that he did so well. Now he's in Help doing ADP. Hope he can do well and continue to succeed in life. Congratulation , bro!!
I'm still figure a way out on my air ticket to go back KL this summer. It's an annoying process, because the ticket is expensive. I hope it can come down to final after April when the price of Turkish Airline is out. I have changed my mind of taking Finnair. Now it left 3 choices :- Turkish Airlines, Aerosvit or Gulf Air.
Sorry for no news form me ...I'm busy preparing my exams...I promise i will update more from time to time.
Today i had a wonderful service. The heater system in our church broke down eventually and we had our service in the cold, something like "outdoor winter service". That was a wonderful feeling. While i was leading the praise and worship, the idea of refocusing on GOD revived me. No matter in what kind of weather, conditions, problems...etc...we are here to worship Him.
Come across this song while I'm doing my reading....
Five Loaves and Two Fishes - by Corrinne May
He heard a crowd of people laughing and he went to take a look
Thousands of people were listening to the stories of one man
He spoke with such wisdom even the kids could understand
The hours passed so quickly, the day turned into night
Everyone was hungry but there was no food in sight
The boy looked in his lunchbox, at the little that he had
He wasn’t sure what good it’d do
There were thousands to be fed
But he saw the twinkling eyes of Jesus, the kindness in his smile
And the boy cried out with the trust of a child
Take my five loaves and two fishes
Do with it as You will
I surrender
Take my fears, my inhibitions
All my burdens, my ambitions
You can use it all
To feed them all
and I’m worried that the work I do means nothing at all
But every single tear I cry is a diamond in His hand
and every door that slams in my face I offer up in prayer
so i give You every breath that I have
Oh Lord, You can work miracles
All You need is my Amen
Do with it as You will
I surrender
Take my fears, my inhibitions
All my burdens, my ambitions
You can use it all
Hope it’s not too small
I trust in You
I trust in You
It's Spring...
This spring i went to travel , to Kharkov ( A eastern city of Ukraine). A bunch of us from Simferopol Chinese Church gathered and departed on 28th April to Kharkov.
The train journey took us 10 hours, and this was what happened in train...
Card's time....
Chit-chatting time...
We arrived in Kharkov the next morning. Everyone was excited! We have our Sunday service in the local church and then back to our "hotel".
Well, we are not going there just to stay in the hotel. Actually our mission was to visit the local Chinese students. For your information, Kharkov is the largest education center in Ukraine, so there are allot of foreign students over there. As for their accommodation, just imagine there is so called " students' area" which is actually a compound consists of 10 blocks or more buildings for students. So in Kharkov, there are around 6 students' area.
Everytime we set off.....
How many Chinese in Kharkov? Around 3000. So we were divided into 2 groups and each group visited 1 student area per day, where Chinese is more concerntrated. So we visited the local students for 2 days. And i think we were having fun with them, sharing our life and get to know more about people from PRC and their culture.
1st day after our visit....
2nd day's visit....
Waiting to go into the hostel....
She is my partner, Lee Lin (for the visiting) . She cares for me a lot like my sis. I sayang her so much...
While the highlight will be on 1st May when we had our musical concert. Our theme was "爱, 永不褪色". In english " Unfading love"
L.O.V.E
What is the concert about?? It is actually some songs, drama, and sharing about the unfading love that you can find in this world. If you are interested about it, please dun hesitate to ask me!
The choir..
The sketch..
YiShu, Me, Mei Ting singing....
Our "heart shape"
All these pics were taken during our rehersal. During the actual event, we hired professionals to record the whole performance as we don't have time to do it ourselves.
After the concert....
busy ushering our guest...
Finished.....
We have great fun during the whole trip. We packed our bags and left Kharkov on the 1st of May straight after the musical concert!
WHAT ELSE......
Kharkov is one of the earliest city in Europe which has metro. Their metro is like 15-20 feets under ground, VERY DEEP, and very crowded. They told us not to talk loudly and take picture inside the underground, don't know why, might be due to the local police. But still....
Here is my roommate in Kharkov trip...
Guess who??
I saw this during one of my visit to local hostel...
" Miao" sign....cool!!
There was one guy in the local church, name Bova. He is actually incharge of the PA. So he was there to see us rehersal n pratices. And after our real performance, he sort of fall in love with one of our song, check this out....
